Danish adventurer Jan Kalmar, founder of a travel agency established in 2007, has unveiled an exhilarating off-roading experience set in the heart of Africa. Spanning from June 1 to 19, this 19-day adventure invites enthusiasts of high-performance vehicles to traverse Africa’s rugged terrain in a Porsche rally car during the day, while indulging in luxurious accommodations at night.
Covering over 3,400 miles, the route traverses five African countries, challenging drivers to navigate diverse landscapes ranging from deserts and savannas to mountains and grasslands in Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Angola. The itinerary also includes shorter excursions to destinations like Lapland and Morocco, promising an experience reminiscent of the legendary Camel Trophy and the iconic Paris Dakar races.
Jan Kalmar will personally lead the expedition, supported by a team of skilled mechanics, fixers, and assistants. With a limited capacity of only 14 drivers, the trip fosters a strong sense of camaraderie as participants collaborate to overcome challenges such as navigating soft sand or crossing turbulent rivers in Porsche vehicles like the 911 and Cayman.
The driving experience will be as varied as the terrain, with some days demanding precise control while others require speed and agility. Drivers must pass a qualification test to ensure they are prepared for the journey’s demands, enhancing safety and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.

Each guest can select a Safari Porsche from a range of modern or classic sports cars or SUVs, with the option to switch vehicles during the journey or bring their own Porsche for a personalized touch.
