Perched on the 77th floor of the hotel, this colossal infinity pool stretches 311 feet in length and 54 feet in width, nearly double the size of an Olympic pool. From this vantage point, which is approximately nine-tenths the height of the Eiffel Tower, guests are treated to expansive views of Dubai’s skyline, including iconic landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, the World Islands, and the record-breaking Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, the tallest in the world.
Mark Kirby of Emaar, the parent company of the resort, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “We are very honored to have received this accolade. The Guinness World Records title positions Address Hotels and Resorts at the pinnacle of luxury and as a bucket list destination for travelers.” The infinity pool is one of several at Address Beach Resort, which also features an adults-only pool, a family pool, and a kids’ splash pad. However, the infinity pool is exclusive to guests aged 21 and over. Next to the pool on the 77th floor is Zeta Seventy Seven, an Asian fusion restaurant offering the same breathtaking views.
This isn’t the only Guinness World Record held by the hotel. The resort is part of a twin-tower structure, connected from the first to the 13th floors and again by a skybridge from the 63rd to the 77th floors. This skybridge holds the record for the highest occupiable skybridge floor, standing at an impressive 965.7 feet.
The Address Beach Resort, which opened in December 2020, boasts 217 guest rooms and suites, along with 443 furnished residences and 478 unfurnished residences. This luxurious property has quickly become a landmark in Dubai’s skyline.
Meanwhile, another remarkable pool is set to open in London this month. The Embassy Gardens will unveil a clear-bottomed pool hanging 115 feet in the air, which CNN reports will be the world’s largest freestanding acrylic pool structure when it opens on May 19. This innovative pool is sure to attract thrill-seekers and luxury travelers alike, much like the record-breaking pool at Address Beach Resort.
